Webster Falls Media is a North Carolina-based film production and publishing company. It was founded in 2007 as an alternative way for truly independent authors and filmmakers to have a publisher and film distributer open to new voices and storytellers.
The company's first projects were the novel Blaire's Bridge and the film inspired by that book. In 2011, Webster Falls Films released its first comedy, Whistling Pines.
In 2014, the company became the distributor of the documentary, Deal's Gap: The Tale of the Dragon. Hosted by Ben Jones, known for his role as "Cooter" on the TV series Duke's of Hazzard, the film features the history and stories surrounding the famous motorcycle mecca in Deal's Gap that attracts cyclists from all over the world. The documentary was produced and directed by filmmaker Bryan Jones, Ben's brother.
A recent Webster Falls Media release is the book Yes, Sir! Mr. President, the true story of a man who served more presidents aboard Air Force One than anyone in history. That man is Howie Franklin, who was an Air Force flight attendant. The book is co-authored by Franklin and Mark Grady.
Several new books will be released in the fall of 2019, including three non-fiction titles: Searching for Walden, Tampa Task Force and From Wrongfully Accused to Success. In addition, Webster Falls Films is currently in pre-production for two documentaries, one on family farms and another on small town media.
In June of 2019, Webster Falls Media announced an initiative to find new or established authors looking for a new publishing home. If you are an author, find all the details at
